I was in Loughton recently to check out The Olive Tree restaurant (review coming soon). We missed out on Nu Bar and Luxe as we were way to early on our Friday night out, but the Hollybush gave us just what the doctor ordered. A nice local boozer with unpretentious drinkers who like a more casual affair than its dressed up glam counterparts in the area. It has a couple of different areas, some TV’s, it good for groups and or you can find a little spot for two. Good selection of beers, decent wine actually and a good atmosphere.
