Just good food. I had the best mash I’ve ever had in my life at Brasserie Fort Four. Their set menu for two is well worth the price. The food is really flavourful, well seasoned, and generally tasty. It wasn’t shocking or experimental by any means, but it was delicious and satisfying. If I ever find myself back in Leeds, I will definitely try to make my way back to Brasserie Forty Four.
Went tonight .. pretty quiet buy it is a Monday. Service was really good, we had 4 people waiting on 4 tables. Food was really good. Very happy with my scallops as a starter with pea pure. Very nicely done. Fillet was cooked properly ‘medium rare’ and was tender. Lacked a little flavour though even with the madeira sauce. Profiteroles for dessert and I can honestly say the best ones ever. Spot on amounts of chocolate sauce, and cold almost ice-cream like richness of the cream. Pastry was awesome. The dessert was definitely the highlight. Menus look a bit cheap – does not do the quality of the service/food any justice nor does the ‘come back soon’ floor mat on the way out! Last points are feedback of the only things standing out from a really good place to eat, and to polish the experience.
Amazing Experience. I have had Brasserie Forty 4 on my venue to dine at list for a while now. I was hoping for fantastic food, a great location and impeccable service, and i must say I was not let down at all! The food was beautiful I had the Scallops to start and the special of the day, which was pan fried chicken breast both of which were exciting the desert of Sticky Toffee Pudding was the best I have ever eaten. The dining room is sleek and well presented, we ate in one of the private dining rooms which was elegant and sophisticated over looking the river. The service was also impeccable and the staff/management were eager to please, helpful, polite and friendly!!! I will defiantly be going back…. 10/10 Deserves a Michelin!
Top notch food at reasonable prices. Menu changes every month. Always something new to try. Fantastic!
