1) Ambiance (0.25/1) – Interesting decor (small potted plants along the wall). However the kitchen right at the entrance makes the place look a little conjusted Also, the seats (single ones) can be made more comfortable.2) Food (0.75/1) – The Fishcakes were really flavourful but were fried. Their spring rolls were twice as large as the normal ones seen in other places. The vegetarian tofu Pad Thai was something my friend totally loved. I too enjoyed my Thai curry (Padped) with jasmine rice. Very generous portions and we loved the touch of their crushed peanuts along with the mains! 3) Service (0.25/1) – Service was quick but a major drawback was that *they do not accept card payments* It’s cash only4) Innovation and Technique (0.75/1)- Known and loved for their Thai food I wish at least one of the Thai restaurants in town offered some fresh, (uncanned), traditional, herbal drinks.5) VFM (1/1) – 5 dishes for 2 people and the total bill was 25. My friend needed to pack her main dish for today’s lunch.Overall: 3/5. Good food and as long as you are okay with cash payment, definitely must try for Thai food!
We’ve just left the original Bradford branch and I have to write a review of this place! The satay chicken starter is highly recommended as were the chicken wings and my mum loved the vegetable spring rolls! I sampled some of everybody’s main course and I had no complaints at all. The volcano duck and steak were definite winners and no doubt I’d have my prawns again! What made it really special was the service. Simon is a wonderful host and although service can be slow at times we were constantly entertained and didn’t mind waiting for our beautiful meal. Highly recommended!
