I only work across the road from Homeburger and my expectations were high.I went for a chicken burger and skin on fries. The burger was just awful! The ‘buttermilk’ batter was tasteless and greasy, in fact so greasy I still feel nauseous an hour after attempting to eat it. The bun, although a brioche type, was dry and tastless too. All in all the burger was awful and went to the bin after a couple of bites. I do love a buttermilk fried burger and usually order them at other burger joints and can honestly say this one was the worst I had in a long time.The fries were nice however if I was going to have fries for lunch I would probably go somewhere else, or cheaper ,as the burger with fries was 11.50.The staff was rude and not responsive at all. Two grumpy, blonde ladies made everyone feel very unwelcome. I asked for plain mayo instead of chipotle and they made a huge deal out of it saying they do not think it is possible (??!!).There also was not even one menu to read and my choice was based on the staff reciting the offer. After reading the website I realised there was way more choice and they just could not be bothered to say anything else than ‘ we have burger, cheese burger and chicken burger’.Its a huge shame because clearly someone invested a lot of money in the place and it has got great potential. I would suggest changing the staff immediately otherwise the huge success might never come.

When I phoned back I had to two people five times to cancel the order and issue a refund as I needed to leave the house. Again I was spoken to rudely and had no explanation as to why the food was (by this point) so late.DO NOT USE.
Ordered online, burgers came very quickly and were still piping hot, chips and onion shards too. Tasted as good as a burger you would get out in a restaurant, very good quality! We ate the bacon cheese and the chicken. Ordered the chocolate pie too, a great treat!Only downside you can’t pay online, only cash. theldndiaries.com
