Lovely Interior. Used to be a large cinema and got transformed into a big resto pub. The ambiance is really nice and the place is spacious with really cool set up and design. I tried the BBQ Chicken Melt which was good but nothing really special. Also, the prices are very pocket friendly. Would ge there again for some appetizers/finger food and some beer.
Awful place. Got food poisoning from incompetent chefs during the breakfast.I’ve given them the .05 for the fact that it’s a nice building.
Am of course a huge advocate of Spoons, for a a drink and/or for food. The Coronet probs makes my top 5 in London. Huge converted theatre space with a high ceiling that sucks out the sound of conversation to make it an almost tranquil (lol) setting for one of the most filling and good value Mexican Mondays you will have in your life.Goes well with a 7 bottle of blended scotch from Sainsburys Local and a 6 film at Holloway Odeon.
The CoronetPart of the Weatherspoon chain, this pub offer good food and good drinks for a nice, cheap price. It would be one of the many if the Coronet wasn’t a Theatre in its previous incarnation! It still retain all the feature of its former self and it’s a charm to walk around. The downside is that is dark even in the brightest of days and some patrons are, let’s say, peculiar. The staff is amazing, there is room for huge parties and the night out is not going to cost you a fortune. Avoid during match day (too close to the Arsenal) and Sunday at lunch (too many kids).
