31.01.15 party of 15. Having booked a table for 18 people originally, i was advised to preorder. this I did, but reduced the amount of people and left one order out. contacted again to add another person and preorder the rest of the meals. On the day of the booking had to take off one person. One menu was made especially for the needs of one person. At all times I was spoken to politely and nothing was any trouble. On the evening the staff were amazing. friendly but not too familiar, polite at all times. service with a smile. We, a party of 15 now, were all served at the same time, the 3 people who ordered starters were served first,after being asked if they wanted to be served straight away. No one had to wait for their meals. just the right amount of time was left before clearing the plates, the same for taking orders for the sweet. ordering off the menu again was no trouble( as long as it was available in the kitchen) The evening was wonderful, down to the company i was in but mostly because of the superb service and delicious food. This was a Tuesday evening, 31.03.15

Outstanding. I visited this Public House having had it recomended to us by a friend.I visited on a tuesday were i was greeted by a big bubbly lady who was most helpful for all our visit.We like a treat every month & this pub is going to be ours in the future.**FANTASTIC**
The food is good but the manager and his wife are so full of themselves ! We go alot but purely because of the food . Attitude is Poor … Go on give us a smile … I dare you ??
Have been there a few times and lovely pub great atmosphere with lovely staff,steak pie is fantastic
