Great home made food at affordable prices, plus the Beer is excellent!. Traditional 16th Century Coaching Inn with open fires excellent beer and super food, always a warm welcome.
Old kings head,byrons lane. We’ve been a few times since the pub re-opened the beer is always good, the fires are always lit during the winter months and the food,well the food is exactly why we go there,the house speciality is pies,the steak and ale pie is to die for (they bake them to order so expect a wait of 45 mins) my wife loves the nasi goereng.the cod and chips is as good as it gets and the sunday roasts are always generous.
