The greek food at Tsiakkos & Charcoal is, hands down, the best I have had in London! The food feels as if it is home made, as the portions are generous and the food itself is delicious! As a starter, I highly recommend the greek salad (it has a generous chunk of feta cheese!) along with all the traditional dips (Taramasalata, Tzatziki, hummus) and pitta bread – These were all fantastic! For mains, I highly recommend the grilled fish and the different types of grilled marinated meat. The staff are really friendly and the restaurant itself is very cosy, as it has very dim, candle lighting. The only negative aspect of this restaurant are the toilets – These could be done up! Nonetheless, if you like Greek food, this is a restaurant that you wouldn’t want to miss. Highly recommend it!

Taramasalata, Houmous and Tsatsiki with baskets of hot pitta bread were a delicious start. Followed by authentic piled high with feta greek salads; griddled chicken and pork, fish, etc etc… wonderful for a meet with friends sharing food and laughing. Simplicity at its best is always elegant and this restaurant made that possible.

This place is awesome. Small menu all high quality food. I had the most amazing pork. The whole place looks like someone’s front room during a powercut. Highly recommended.
