Brass Castle Brewery is right in the centre of Malton, moments away from the train & bus stations. The Taphouse is child and dog-friendly all day with plenty of drinks on offer, including 2 rotating Brass Castle casks, up to 5 rotating Brass Castle kegs, a local cider keg, & an occasional guest keg. There is also a healthy choice of local gins, wine, soft drinks & coffees. All BC beers are Vegan & Vegetarian friendly, & since December 2017, are all brewed to a Gluten-Free recipe. The canned range is certified GF. Since October 2019, all BC cans are produced on a brand new canning line right in the middle of the brewery. The brewery is also home to 5 fermenters, 4 conditioning tanks, & 2 carbonation tanks. The brewers work with a unique house yeast to produce a huge range of beers including core range, seasonal brews, & collabs. Spent grain from the brewing process goes to be digested into wiggly amps, biogas & fertiliser, & spent hops find their way onto local allotments.Details

Brass Castle beer is well known to craft beer drinkers and where better to sample, but at the brewery tap. Traditional hand pumps are here too. Welcoming staff. Good Wi-Fi. No food. Probably the best bar in Malton for the discerning beer drinker.
