Our Hotel was in the history the St.Michaels Girls School build 1876. The Mount Hotel has been owned by our family beginning of 2011 and the building was in a derelict condition, the owner have had nothing done in the last 15 years on the building,therefore we wanted to create a hotel for Malton to be proud of and the building is it worth. All rooms are painted with mineral paints - soundproofed,best insulations and the highest standart central heating for best comfort. Maybe we are not perfect, but we will do our best for you. We like to talk with our guests and we will served our food everytime only with fresh products from local suppliers. Finally we would like to create a Hotel in 4 star quality for everyone. We are family-friendly, not extravagant or arrogant.Hopefully you will find the Mount Hotel traditional and relaxing with a little bit atmosphare of Alpine, Bavaria and traditional british style. At the moment we will serve the breakfast in the bistro, but after the renovation we will serve it in the breakfast room. We look forward to welcoming you to the new refurb Mount Hotel.
