Bar San Juan is a perfect tapas bar in South Manchester. If you’re visiting Manchester and fancy tapas make the effort to head South to Chorlton and visit Juan.Cruzcampo, Mahou, San Miguel, Alhambra and Sangria on tap, 43 liquor on the top shelf and an amazing selection of tapas including albondigas (meatballs), gambas gabardina con bacon (prawns in bacon), tortilla, papas bravas, chorizo al vino, breads, jamon iberico, olives and the list goes on.The staff are fantastic too, always on the move and always friendly. They help make the place what it is.
Nice food, good service and overall a teally enjoyable place but they do not have much for little ones, am afraid. Maybe can add some coloring or little games to keep children intratained? If you have them already ..i may jave gone there at the wrong time?
Popped in for some lunch, felt like we were transported to Spain. We had a few tapas and some drinks. The food was the nicest tapas I’ve ever had, melting beef cheeks, amazing shredded lamb parcels & Some great black pudding, washed down with great wine and beer. The decor is so cool and done really well. I love this place, deserves it high ranking.
