Average taste overall.Platter – 2.5/5Fish was good, chicken tandoori on the bone was good, lamb was good, chicken tikka was very bad, chicken tikka hariyali was bad – basically both tikka dishes were very chewy. Kebab was good.Chicken dum biryani – 3/5Better than average.Overall good taste. One time visit.
We tried the place last night and I wasn’t sure if the place is really Indian owned or Pakistani as the menu still said Lahori Grill! When asked the owner said they have Hyderabadi chef from India. We ordered quite a lot but only the Hyderabadi dishes from the menu, and the food was really delicious. The interiors are quite basic. We were served by a lovely girl. Mango Lassi was refreshing, chicken Biryani the best I have tasted here in London so far and other dishes were great too. Food is a little bit spicy, but Hyderabadi cuisine is like Sichuan Chinese cuisine. The bill came to just 30 for two. I would recommend this place if you live in the area and fancy some good, affordable, real Hyderabadi Indian. X
