Alas, after years of serving Marlborough so well the owners have decided to hang up their shoes and retire. Coles is now going to be two dwellings. A great loss to Marlborough, but a happy retirement to the owners.
Yes, sadly this excellent Marlborough restaurant has closed (end of Sep 2016) and is to be converted into two dwellings… but it is rumoured that the chef is to start up somewhere else locally.
