I thought food would soften the blow of getting out the world cup but I now feel sick. Sausage in batter was a dry disgrace and the chips are soggy ? Doesn’t surprise me, I’ve never been given nice food in this place, never again.

I love this place. My husband always has large cod, which is the size of a whale. I have half a chicken or sausages and have never had anything other than really fab food. It is very popular but the wait is worth it!
Classic local chippy fare.Have had most things from a bag of chips to go to Friday supper for six. Always of a good standard. Various fish available Haddock and Cod seem to come well cooked. Reasonable amount of variety. Staff are always friendly.
