A modern-meets-rustic Taiwanese restaurant. Situated on Marylebones Paddington Street, the bright neon lights give the downstairs cocktail bar an intimate red glow; an eclectic mix of century-old, Taiwan-bought items are lined across the walls; while the upstairs dining room brings tradition to your table. As the name suggests, Bao & Bing is all about fluffy bao buns filled with everything from pork belly (accompanied by chilli, coriander and mayonnaise) to panko shrimp (with wok cabbage) and a monthly-changing special to keep your taste buds coming back for more. The food was delicious! The bao were fantastic and even the sides were really tasty. We decided to have bottomless brunch and the drinks were tasty and free flowing. I’m coming back with friends!
Loved the rolls and desserts. Very delicious. However the price was high for the small size of the dishes. Might go back for a light lunch but I need more for my money if looking for a full meal. P.S. Very cool atmosphere
Cool restaurant. The staff were polite and the food was really nice, slightly slow getting the desserts but was worth it when they arrived!
Wheelcakes were good but SOOO rich I could barely finish it. The buns were DELICIOUS but pricey for the amount of food you got. Unique vibe and decorating scheme.
This restaurant is very cozy with great good with strong flavours. Love all the small dishes and they are perfect for sharing!
