Coco Momo is a really nice place to enjoy a quick lunch, a drink at the end of a sunny afternoon, or for coffee. Situated on Marylebone High Street, it’s a really cool place to take a break from walking around in the area. The first time I went to Coco Momo, my sister and I stopped at Coco Momo for lunch, craving a good salad. We ordered the grilled salmon salad, which came with an asian-style dressing, edamame beans, and quinoa. Both of us were very satisfied by it. The staff is friendly, and the service is pretty quick. The second time I went to Coco Momo, it was for a drink at around 5:30 pm on a sunny summer afternoon. We wanted to enjoy the sun, and so were hoping to find a place on the terrace. Luckily, we were able to find a spot, but we were really lucky: when it gets sunny, the terrace is always packed, and people are desperately hoping for you to finish your drink or coffee quickly enough so they can snatch your seats away from you! Inside seating is also very nice, but considering the rareness of the sun, you can imagine that it’s difficult to let your spot go when you have one. (There is limited seating outside) THe ambience is very young, very lively, and it’s really a good place for a relaxing enjoyable time. I recommend the daiquiris as a fresh and fruity cocktail.
With a Great Location Marylebone High Street is located Cocco Momo Cafe Bar Marylebone. The Lounge/Bar offers plenty of coctails and reasonable food. I definetely can reccomed to try the Eggs Royale( with smoked salmon and peached free range eggs and hallandaise eggs). From the drinks I can recommend to order the Holborn or the famous Marylebone cocktail ( Eristoff Vodka & Baileys and Amaretto shaken together and cream milkshake)!Definetely a place to relax/ chill after an exhausting day or just to spend time with beloved person!
Been here a few times for breakfast and the service is spotty. The food is pretty standard breakfast fare (eggs Benedict/royale, full English and veg version, waffle, etc). The place seems a bit more focused on the cocktail menu than the food and it shows in the seasoning and on the plate. It’s a reliable place to grab breakfast that could really do well if they paid a bit more attention to the food and the service.
So on a glorious sunny Sunday mid morning wondering the streets of Old Marylebone Town – stomach rumbling with that hungover feed-me feeling – the other half and I happened across Coco Momo. The tables and chairs strewn outside were all taken so we reluctantly took a window seat inside – I didn’t have the strength to continue walking!!!Swift and friendly service in a light and airy, charming converted pub. Mint tea, Earl Grey, Orange Juice, Citron Presse, one Eggs Benedict and one Eggs Florentine.Very fresh OJ and a delightfully sparkling Citron Presse (fait maison!). But the eggs were a big disappointment. Eggs Benedict, or it’s variations are about three things: Creamy running yolks, medium toasted muffins (so you get the hold, a bit of crunch, but the ability to soak up the saucy bits) and the perfect Hollandaise. The very pale and extremely runny Hollandaise pretty much cancelled out a perfectly cooked egg and sufficiently toasted muffin. It lacked an unctuous thickness, the little spark of vinegary zing and basic seasoning. And all together it just didn’t quite satisfy.
