Visited this lovely Indian restaurant for dinner on my trip London recently.Very calm quite and amazing place for good Indian food with proper Indian hospitality standards. I would like to commend Mr. Manan who served us, an absolute gem of a person with such a humble and warm hospitality. His recommendations and honest suggestion and also consideration about preferences made our dinner experience very special. Definitely a must try if you are craving for good and authentic Indian food.
Place: Decent Ambience: appeared more formal Service: certainly could have been better. With a double tree brand, one would have expected some warmth in service, but sadly not. Food: was good..the horrible service was made up for by the good food.
Very average food. Wasn’t very exciting. Booked here because they had a 4+ rating on open table & were serving beer & food as early as 6pm. Won’t make that mistake again.Staff was polite & friendly, but service was slow. It was good for us that we were there to catch up with friends & chat. It was quiet & I think we upped the volume of the place significantly. So it’s a great place to have long catch up conversations. But the food was just average. I’d never go back if this was a restaurant in India. Actually I won’t go back here either. The dhal, roti & rice were fine, but the meats were cooked very generically. While they claim to have an Indian chef, the food tasted like what you’d get in a Bangladeshi curry house. The only dish that is worth a mention is the fish, which wasn’t even on the menu & was recommended by the manager.Even with the 50% discount on food via open table, I wouldn’t go back though. on.fb.me
Was looking for a Thai evening, but it has changed to a Indian spot. Food was ok, not thing to get excited about. Service was slow, portions small and the best thing about the venue was the decor. There are better places to eat in the area…
