I’m a northerner who knows her fish and chips and this is NOT great fish and chips. I got it to take away – and didn’t wait too longer ( 7 mins maybe). The chips they serve are not the traditional chips you’d expect. The fish was covered in breadcrumbs and not batter. The fish itself was pretty meaty which is great. It costs 10 for fish chips and a drink which is typical for the area. I wouldn’t eat in as the ventilation isn’t great so if you do get them to open the door up. I would say the meal is better then if you have it at a pub but for the price and bcos the place only does one thing – It’s not great.
