Love and Limoncello4 Foodie Points1. We opted for the summer tasting menu at L’Autre Pied, which was reasonably priced for a Michelin Starred restaurant. Out of the 5 coursesI thought 3 were particularly good, including an exceptional dish. My favourite dish was the quail served with bertolli beans. This dish was superb with excellent flavours.2. Unfortunately I didn’t feel the dessert quite hit the mark, as the lemon sorbets we were served were rather taut for both our palettes.3. What I absolutely loved about L’Autre Pied is the very relaxed ambience of the restaurant. I often find some Michelin starred restaurants in London stuffy and overbearing. L’Autre Pied provides an excellent relaxed dining atmosphere.4. The service here was exceptional. We were served by the most delightful French waiter who explained each dish carefully. When he clearly saw we did not like the dessert he offered an alternative. Having been to many a restaurant where they would simply clear the dish away and not query whether everything was okay this was brilliant to see.
