Fantastic! I have wanted to try this bar for a long time and finally made it here. Beautiful setting, drinks were amazing, staff were brilliant – friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The drinks came in quirky glasses and with a bit of theatre – one was served in a London tourist money box, one came in a mini flower pit and one came in an odd-shaped killer jar with a balloon attached. The balloon was popped with a lighter before us when it was served which added a little bit of fun to the drinking experience. We will definitely come back here.

The drinks were only ok, the ‘food pairing’ concept was interesting, and there was live jazz. However, the venue was very humid and full of mosquitos when I went, which made the night not as enjoyable as how it should have been.

If you are looking for some truly spectacular cocktail with a wow factor, look no further than Purl, an underground cocktail bar near Baker Street. Highly creative cocktails with wacky visual and unexpected tastes, seem like Purl has taken a page from Fat duck but transferred it to cocktail making. Try Sevillian if you are a fan of Spanish food, chorizo washed gin matched perfectly with garlic tomato, a rather unusual but fun experience. foodanddrinksnoob.blogspot.com
