The dinning party was very much looking forward to our meal at the restaurant, given the positive reviews. While the party was warmly greeted &, initially, the service was attentive, the level of service seemed to change once we received our meals. No one checked to see if we were enjoying the meal & did not check to see if we required the water or drinks replenished (after some time, I asked for water), plates were not cleared in a timely fashion & there were gaps in service. While I certainly appreciate not being rushed during a meal, it felt more that the table was forgotten, while staff attended to other tables. While the meal itself was lovely & of high quality & good presentation, the restaurant would benefit from focussing on providing more consistent service.
We visited London last week and a friend suggested us this place. We prefer to have a booking. We went there and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The place was decorated beautifully. The menu was extensive. They had a very good wine list. I had cumbrian chicken and it tasted delicious plus the meal was good in portions. All in all it was a lovely experience. I would definitely visit this place on my next trip to London.
I have been here so many times with friends and family. I had dinner few days ago with my brother. For mains my personal favorite is lamb shoulder. They present food really beautifully, ad suggest you really good combinations of wines. Aside from the mains my favorite section is the dessert section. Salt caramel, chocolate tart, marshmallow are the best I have every tried. This place has simply the amazing desserts. I would highly recommend this place.
My friend and I tried this place yesterday for lunch on a suggestion of a friend and we were not disappointed at all. We had the 3 course set menu and it was great. I had beef rib and it was better than what I was expecting. Good in taste and in portion. Wines were great too. Its a lovely place to dine in. Very good food. Highly recommended!
Had a very nice experience here on a Monday evening. It’s located in a quiet street off Portman Square. A very unassuming entrance takes you into a really classy room, finely furnished. I realised at the end of the evening that it’s within the Montcalm boutique hotel.Nicely simple menu structure, just the right number of choices. The waiter was very helpful with his descriptions. I went for double fish, both excellent, see the pictures. All dishes were presented exquisitely.
I had lunch at sixty one Restaurant today. I was amazed. The food was excellent and I am still salivating from the experience. Everything was lovely. I had the Salmon and prawn raviolo to start with. Sea Bream with artichoke as the main course, and for dessert I had Braeburn Apple with almond ice cream, accompanied by a Pinot Rose’.The staff were polite, professional, and well trained. They could not do enough for me. In my opinion they were certainly a cut above the rest.I live in Devon, but I will recommend Sixty One Restaurant to all my friends so that they can sample Arnaud culinary Devine and experience.Again, thank you Sixty One, and I shall return soon!Jewel Goss
