Pub with a great location, right next to Baker street station. I have been there a few times as a student and I enjoyed it because the drinks are quite cheap. This makes the place being busy, even during week days. The menu of the pub is really interesting because it provides you all the calories a dish contain, so you can follow up exactly what you are eating which is great! Being a fan of nachos, this place offers a nice big plate of it that you can share or have for your own.

Located next to Baker Street station, Met Bar has a brilliant location. I’ve visited a few times for pre-drinks, and it was very good. The drinks are incredibly cheap, which is always a plus point. The pub always seems to be very busy, especially on weekends. I wouldn’t really recommend this restaurant for a few drinks, however if you are looking for a cheap quick drink (or two), then this is definitely a great place.

Ah the good ole metropolitan bar… it suprsied me to find out that this place was a wethersoopns outlet keeping in mind their reputations… the staff here was quiet pleasant and promt… the brew cheap… and the food just about ok… brilliant for those days when volunteer seemed too expensive all in all a cheap nice neighborhood pub with a decent clientele… very unlike its brothers and sisters… I miss the guest ales though sometimes they had a good selection.. Also dont miss out on the beautiful ceiling of the bar foodhulk.com

The Metropolitan Bar and Pub Located near Baker Street offers you a great opportunity to taste the real British Cuisine.I often go there with my girlfriend because of the convinient prices they have and always fresh and made in the moment of the ordering.I can recommend to try the Salmon Fillet, Chicken Breast Burger, BBQ Chicken Melt or the Large Mixed Grill!Definetely a place to spend your late brunch or just for drinks!

Amazing atmosphere, quite spacious areas inside and a big bar.The metropolitan bar is right next to Baker tube station. Before you enter, outside you can check what the menu is offering which is quite useful. It is a typical British cuisine, although I have been there only for drinks. The prices are affordable as you can dine in for around 40 for two people.I love the bar as it is quite spacious, the lightening is not that strong but it makes the atmosphere quite stunning and sophisticated. The big columns make the bar even more spectacular. Service is not bad although you order at the bar only.Definitely worth going!!!

The venue is pretty nice, it’s usually not too crowded unless there’s a big demand for Baker Street station such as when a football game’s on or there’s a music festival in Hyde Park.Staff are usually very friendly, and willing to have a chat whilst you order. Wetherspoons in general is a good place to meet-up and socialise in, so you will often see groups of friends hanging out there. There is a good range of drinks and food choices, all at reasonable prices. You can go there in the morning for a full english breakfast to tame a hangover, or share a varied meat platter with some mates before getting in some cocktail pitchers for round 2 of the nights out… Food is generally average-good, and for a casual eatery it’s a decent spot. I’ve heard that sometimes they microwave their food but that’s one to speculate on.

Great tasting food for the hangover, cheap but not a great selection of foods! Otherwise very friendly staff and big area to socialise, never too packed which is good.
