We tried this restaurant during our recent visit to London. We were craving for some desi food and were happy to know that Zayna was conveniently located just behind our hotel. The first thing we noticed about the restaurant was the attitude of staff which was not courteous at all. Well we went ahead and placed our order. The food took quite a lot of time to arrive, but it was surely worth the wait. We absolutely loved everything that we ordered. Papri chaat, mixed grill, chicken karahi, garlic naan, everything was yum!We were so impressed by the quality of the food that next day we again went there for lunch. This time around We ordered daal makhani, bati gosht, lahore macchi, kuchumber salad and tandoori paratha. Bati gosht was good but daal makhani was not up to the mark. Kuchumber salad and lahore machhi were really nice though. Will definitely visit again once we are back in town. Had the staff been more courteous we would have given them a 5 on 5. dtownfooddiaries.wordpress.com

Just two minutes walk from our hotel made us go to the restaurant we were completely tired travelling the whole day.A small and a nice restaurant and very nice soothing Indian / Pakistani music being played made the food experience more homely.Order Paneer tikka along with the tadka tiranga daal and a #Shipketa ( a kashmiri style of mix vegetable). And the garlic naan.Paneer (as mostly outside India ) was hard but very well cooked. The daal and sabji wete excellant and believe me they were extra oil free. The #garlicnaan was very well tandoored with garlic and tasted with the sabji the whole combination tasted just the best.Overall full marks for the service and food. The only marks cut are because being Indians we are used to eating onions along with food and they were charged exorbitant.ZAYNA…… will return to u when i return to LONDON.

Unfortunately I saw the good reviews on this website and decided to give it a go with a group of 10 friends. We decided to go here during Ramadan to break out fasts.I called the restaurant 2 days early and made sure to get our orders in advance and they forced me to pay a deposit over the phone, which I wasn’t that keen on doing. We ended up arriving on the day and didn’t receive our food until 1 hour after our scheduled arrival – and the whole time the manager was extremely rude!!! But because he had made us pay a deposit he used this against us so we had to just wait it out.I highly suggest you go to a different restaurant!

Delicious. The vegetarian chickpeas were the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. Will definitely return!

Good Reasonable priced Pakistan Food. 2 adults and a 10year old child ate here in Mid Oct 2009. We really enjoyed the varied menu that was perfect for the adults, and OK for the child (cubes of chicken or prawn appetisers, plus salad and pita bread).Good Pakistani food. we had a bottle of wine (Sauv Blanc from Aussie), dinner for 3 and 2 deserts for less than 100 pounds (incl service).. so not bad for London. It was steps from our hotel, the Hyatt Churchill. I would recommend for either adults or adults with older children.

Outstanding flavors and textures !. This restaurant a short walk from the Marble Arch tube is a beautifully designed Pakistan/Indian delight. Our teen enjoyed the spiceyness of the tandoori chicken as well as the combinations of sweet and tart in the two salads we sampled, one with tamarind sauce, pomegranate seeds yogurt and chick peas with lamb samosas. We couldn’t get enough on our short week in London. The service was terrific and the cleanliness at the table and in the loo was remarkable. The owner has his eye on the details.
