I recently visited Aubaine on a shopping trip to Selfridges. I am more familiar with Aubaine in Dubai but this proved to be very similar – the decor, the menu (with the exception that alcohol was served), the ambience and service quality. It is a nice pit stop when on a shopping spree at Selfridges – the food is great and so are the drinks
Yesterday I have been there and had a really bad experience. They served me a burger in 30 minutes. Burger was prepared and forgotten in the kitchen. Therefore it was terrible, cheese and meat was frozen!! Waitress was talking back to me. Really bad experience 🙁 bad quality of service.
You need to stop by Aubaine for a quick lunch while shopping at Selfridges. The place is always happening. You will be lucky to find a table. The food menu is a short list of healthy and delicious variety. I had the soup of the day which was a delicious carrot soup, my favorite. The bread they served was fresh. The super salad was refreshing. We didn’t have dessert as we were in a rush but they are beautifully displayed on the bar.
A good french restaurant located inside selfridges at the 2nd floor .. Place is a nice and the important part is the well served and delicious food they offer spaghetti with lobster also the mussels were amazing …recommended 🙂
I love the bread here. The taste just like what I ate in France. Mussels in deep water and Lobster spagetti are a good choice. Find out more picture of mine via Instagram: nhungbunn.
Mixed experience on a Saturday night. Went here on a Saturday evening after a day of shopping and had a mixed experience. The good points? Well, the food was fantastic (duck served two ways – velvety breast and flaky confit – plus a soft sea bass with crispy skin, as well as a starter of crab and scallop cakes). It was also a lovely place to sit and resembled a cross between an upmarket florist (because of the ornate arrangements) and a French brasserie. But the staff rushed us through the ordering process and didn’t offer to help us with bags or coats as we squeezed into the tiny table, and only two desserts were available as they’d run out of cakes. It was pretty expensive too – 94 for two mains, two desserts, a shared starter and a drink each. In the future we’d probably go for the main courses alone but it was a shame the staff weren’t more friendly.
