La Locanda. Not what it appears – you’d expect a traditional family run little place – you’d be wrong. The house wine (red) was good but I had the worst pasta in a long time – Linguine alle Vongole – slimy, overcooked and poorly seasoned. Four clam shells (empty) though the sauce contained many suspicious bits of ‘flesh’ which I conclude was frozen or tinned clams. Ugh! I wonder if they recycle those shells?
