About
Welcome to the new generation of Ponti's Italian Kitchen, which has been family-run since 1963. The family originates from Piacenza in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and they are passionate and committed to the exceptional food of the region. Dishes are simply prepared using the freshest quality ingredients, with a generation's twist on traditional classics. Provenance is a key part of the menu, with several dishes denoted with the DOP logo, the official mark which certifies that the products are genuine speciality products from the region. So, the Parma Ham is from Parma and nowhere else. With two sites in London on Duke Street and John Prince's Street, Ponti's Italian Kitchen appeals to a broad clientele and serves food all day. From a cooked breakfast to afternoon tea and cakes, and late supper through to a great cocktail, the menu remains true to Ponti's Italian roots. Stylish and comfortable, Ponti's has a sixties-inspired interior design, with banquette seating and wooden chairs around tables of all sizes. Red walls are adorned with pictures of Pontis through the generations, alongside a variety of oils, pastas and vinegars for sale. The wood stone pizza oven adds a sense of excitement to the restaurant, further emphasised by the open kitchen. A lively and entertaining space with contemporary music in the background, Ponti's Italian Kitchen conveys all the best attributes of an Italian home - great fresh authentic food, warmth and fun. Ponti's Italian Kitchen is proud to receive the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award 2012, for consistently achieving outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.
