Had seen the picture of the beef salt sandwich on Instagram and it looked so tempting and good that we had to try out this place in Selfridges. It was such a big big disappointment. The sandwich as you can see on the picture was only the bread and the meat. No sides/zucchini as we saw on the photo. And for 8/9 it was definitely over priced. The beef was the only thing that made up for it.The Mac and cheese was alright. Not the best I’ve tried.Had more expectations from this place 🙁
Decided to stop at The Brass Rail for a quick afternoon lunch. We ordered the mac n cheese, the Brass Rail Rueben & a salad. The Reuben proved to be a table favorite. The beef was cooked flawlessly and had the perfect amount of cheese. The only problem was that the sandwich was too big for our mouths and we ended up having to eat it with a knife & forkOn the other hand I found the mac & cheese to be a tad bit bland. The seating of the place is extremely comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Would come again for the sandwich!
