I love the Lord Tredegar! Great pub atmosphere, have had some nice glasses of wine and also food here. Had the bowl of mussels (amaaaaaaazing!) and another time the burger- all delicious and good pub grub. All the staff are super lovely and helpful! Love to bring friends here. Definitely give it a go!
If you ever wanted to know where the Queen Mary faculty goes for drinks after lectures this is it. There’s a very high chance of meeting a few drunk professors there so if you’re a Queen Mary student you may want to keep that in mind.The pub itself is hidden away from the main road near Mile End and it does not look like much from the outside. However, inside its hiding 3 good sized rooms and a garden area so it’s ideal for big groups.The staff is friendly and there’s a good selection of drinks. The kitchen is exposed at the back room so you can see while your food is prepared. However I did not have anything this time so I can not tell if it’s good. I don’t think it’s a venue you need to go out of your way to get to but if you live in the area you should keep it in mind for when you are looking for a drink. darcrose22albionadventures.blogspot.com
