The firecracker provides a spicy alternative to the otherwise meagre and bland alternatives in and around Milbank Towers. I have tried the meal deals only. The idea was to try each combination. Well, I find the meal deals the best value for money options in the restaurant. Only let down was the chicken teriyaki – it was sweeter than usual.Food 3.5/5Service 4/5Ambiance 3/5 The seating is comfortable, but the interiors are too dark for my liking.I recommend this place
Been here twice now, once being for a friends birthday so we ordered off the set menu. The service was average but I did enjoy my food & drinks. Prices are reasonable as well
Ok, the food we ordered was crispy duck wrap(Peking Duck), chicken and pork skewers, and Singaporean rice noodles. The rice noodles was the only item that was ok. The wrap wasn’t even steamed!! If anyone has seen a wonton outer wrap uncooked, that was the wrap. The duck is actually suppose to be its crispy skin. They served us overcooked duck bits. Just the worse ever Peking duck! U think they can’t mess up some skewers. The skewers were chewy as rubber. I didn’t want to order anything else cuz I was too scared. However, we were in the karaoke room which made fun. The food was a joke.
Excellent. I had a couple of ‘small’ dishes and a main. Probably too much. But the food was excellent and I worked my way through it. Beware – on 2 occasions I have shown up to dinner to find the venue ‘closed for a private party’. On one of those occasions I had walked past earlier in the day and there was no sign up. Ring ahead.
We went as group of 15 on Christmas office party. The food supplied for group booking was only enough for about 10 despite us all filling in what we wanted 2 weeks before hand. The food was cold and in effect was awful and to top it all I’ve been Ill for 2 days since Would never go back ever
