Just moved into the area, so decided to pop in for Sunday lunch as it is the closest pub to our home.Still a traditional pub, which is good, but the food was really mediocre, at best. After an extremely long wait everything we ordered was either warm, burned to a crisp, dry and apparently re-heated in the microwave several times. The menu looks good, but the actual food you finally get is not as described as in the menu and much of it has, judging by the smell, been cooked days prior and re-heated.On top of all that the cutlery and crockery were absolutely filthy, as was our table. Although, no surprise if the hygiene of the toilets are anything to go by,
