On the High Street in Dorking. Tasty main course. Friiendly, helpful service. The rhubarb in my crumble was undercooked and rather on the small side. I was given a reduction for the rhubarb issue.
We recently had a private group lunch at Cafe Rouge, Dorking. All the food was quickly served, fresh and delicious and my steak baguette was perfect – tender steak, fresh baguette, watercress and chutney. It was melt in the mouth delicious!
It has a nice air of french charm and the fixed price menu is very good value. The a la carte menu is a lot more expensive but collect your discount coupons, widely offered, before going! Their minute steaks are particularly good.
The food is good here as is the wine. I like the atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit but it does get busy.
