Generic Pub Food. The Brentwood was completely refurbished in December 2007, this hotel is a Grade II listed building is set in its own grounds on the outskirts of Rotherham.The Bar/Restaurant is large and spacious with an airy feel, it is relatively clean and tidy, the staff are friendly with a good attitude.Unfortunately the food has gone downhill, this used to be a half descent carvery, but now it servers generic pub food, processed reformed ready to heat up bland boring pub food, the kind that reminds me of school dinners, no matter of the cost or the supposed BOGOF, there is no excuse for this kind of food.If you like the 2 for 1 deal and you have kids this pub will suit, if not then I would spend my money elsewhere.
