GREAT FOOD, VALUE AND SERVICE.. Lovely homemade food and happy, helpful customer service. We highly recommend the Green Room to one and all. We have used it for a while and have only now got round to writing a recommendation. It is very handy for us with the wheelchair. The door opens automatically and the loo is disability friendly. The owner and staff try really hard to make every visit a pleasure for us. The food and the coffee are first rate and we especially enjoy the jacket potato with savoury mince. Great food, great value and friendly but not over-familiar service.
Went to the greenroom today with my 2 friends and 1 of my friends had her 17 month old baby boy with her. He was very well behaved but the owners made my friend feel very unwelcome. Dirty looks didn’t clear our table and when the little boy finished looking and not touching the newspaper the lady owner strode over to make sure the paper was in order and giving dirty looks to his mother. If you dont want children in your cafe put a notice on the door NO CHILDREN. There are no high chairs and no changing facilities. Terrible place. I’d never go there again.
Dreadful, dreadful place. The food is absolutely appalling. How is it possible to get a baked potato with cheese and beans so wrong?! I had a baked potato with chilli beef which was inedible. It looked nothing like chilli and was swimming in some kind of liquid with a fatty film on the top – vile! The coffee was bitter and un drinkable and my daughter asked for a chocolate milkshake which was merely a chocolate nesquik. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS – you will regret it!!
