  Golden regular. Been to the Black Bull this weekend to their make a wish charity day. Had a great day thank you Nicki and Andy. The food and company was excellent well done to all that took part. If you haven’t been yet you don’t know what your missing.30 Apr, 2014Golden regular. Been to the Black Bull for the first time last week it is now under new management. Andy & Nicky are the new Managers they have not yet started a full menu it is due to start in the very near future. They are a friendly couple and I wish them all the best in there new pub. They have already put in a new t.v screen for live sports. this is a really nice pub and they will soon get it back on its feet. They have cask ales on since Saturday and lots of deals on other drinks. Well worth a visit and show them your support as they try to get the business thriving again.

  Dont bother!. Absolutely awful, after ordering chicken and being told sorry we dont have any chicken, only one of the most popular options on a menu!!!! then my husbands starter of pea and ham soup, youd think you couldnt go wrong with that …well along came a bowl of a tin of mushy peas and chunks of fatty ham, which they should have been embarassed to send out. The main of chilli con carne was no better, in fact my better half didnt touch it!! When you have to go home and start cooking after payiny for a meal i would say AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

  Really good food, a choice between 2 for 1 menu, normal menu and specials, best dish LAMB HENRY!!
