Originally opened as La Cantina in 2013 and now re-branded as Ludo's Bar Bistro, the business is the result of a lifelong ambition to bring the very best food from across the Mediterranean, coupled with the best service, in a warm, relaxed and welcoming environment. Ludovico, the man at the centre of the operation and the lifeblood of the business, has worked in the food business for more than three decades, across the Med and later, building an Italian chain of restaurants in the South East England and a farm in South Italy. Ludo and his team have distilled their many years of culinary experience into the experience that you will find today in Ludo's Bar Bistro. Winning Eastbourne's Trip Advisor 'Certificate of Excellence' for achieving consistently high reviews, the standard has been set for 2015 and beyond. 2014 saw the installation of a genuine, wood fired bread oven.
