Poor service overshadowed reasonably good food unfortunately. We were seated late for an already late table, left looking at menus for an eternity and eventually had to ask someone to take our order! They told us only two front of house staff can take orders as the kitchen can’t cope! On top of this, they didn’t have my main course choice which really put a bitter icing on the cake. Shame really as food was ok in the end but I wouldn’t rush back!

Cheap and cheerful with some interesting dishes, stuffed peppers are a very nice starter. Cocktails by the glass and jug which are well made. Enjoyable deserts.
Very nice food in a quaint setting and excellent service. Can’t go wrong
