The Alex has previously won Rugby Camra pub of the year on seven occasions and is well renowned for the selection and quality of its real ales. We have gone through a substantial refit this year. You now enter the pub into the original front lounge which now has a brewery theme. Malt and hops are on show as well as the brewing process described on the wall. You continue into the back bar which regularly hosts live bands and other entertainment. Our popular jukebox and pool table are always in use. From here you can see our large beer garden which at one time was a bowling green. The garden is ideal in the summer for relaxing in the sun with a fine pint of ale and a bite to eat. We are now serving food everyday of the week; light bites, our famous Alex burger, homemade pies and our increasingly popular Sunday roasts. Whatever your preference the Alex offers it all!
