Beer on an actual barge. Get involved. Perfect location by the river with outside seating for a summers day or cosy inside booths if the weather dictates. Friendly staff with a long established reputation locally. Enjoy!

Went here before watching the Lightning Seeds and others in Newark, had a couple of pints. Although busy, served really quickly and sat on the benches.
Found this venue whilst visiting Newark. Very friendly staff good food and an unusual bar, so a great experience all round!
Visited a few times now, the staff always seem convivial and they allow dogs inside. They always seem to have well kept beer on pump.
Reasonable food, canal views. Lovely staff. Sit in or outside. Would be great for evening party night.
