The Vaults is Newark's first Cider and Ale House and is situated in old cellars on Newark's historic Northgate within walking distance of Newark Castle, the River Trent and the unique charm of Newark town centre. Newark is nationally recognised for many things including its role in the Civil War but one of the most exciting developments of recent years is that of the Real Ale Trail which has been embraced with enthusiasm by those who appreciate the quality of fine beers who are more than willing to support the huge growth in microbrewing over the last few years. The Vaults now has a fully operational restaurant, serving Great British classics, great homemade burgers and chicken wings to die for. There's something for everyone.
