Spent 4 weeks at the Bacon Arms whilst working in Newbury, great location, genuinely friendly pub, clean & lovely rooms, great breakfast to set you up for the day & fantastic evening meals reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone working in Newbury or on hols?
I had breakfast here every day and really enjoyed the service and quality. For dinner one night I had an order of Fish and Chips which was fantastic. I would eat here again!
nice establishment ,very friendly, service is always excellent -and food was lovely .they have an outside patio so if you want to eat outside you can ,and also ideal if you do smoke
We have been going to the Bacon Arms for the past two years with good food and service. This year from start to finish was a disaster. I complained all the way through, without success. Have complained to Marstons. Never again.
Peter & his niece and team were very hospitableThe crowd was great to mingle with and the atmosphere truly English.I don’t think we could have found a better place in Newbury.
