Having recently, perforce, tried other F&C shops (and been disappointed) my wife and I went to Chippies Plaice last Friday and agreed it was by far the best we had had! Delicious cod, perfect chips and, in my case, excellent mushy peas!

There are a number of fish and chip shops in Newton Abbot this is by far the best. Good quality fish in crisp batter. Great chips. They also sell the usual pies and sausages but why when the fish is do good
Well trip advisor and all the customers are not wrong! This was the best fish and chips, still hot when we got it home and we enjoyed it til the last mouthful ?
Always had good freshly made food here. Friendly staff. Curry sauce is one of the best I’ve had! A pretty reliable chippy.
