The Prime Minister of England – David Cameron, Sylvester Stallone, Alex Ferguson, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Sven Goran Ericcson, and on and on.., this place has seen them all, why? because simply the food, the atmosphere, the staff… every.single.night is always on point.I don’t work for this restaurant- I just read the reviews already here and thought I needed to set the record straight. It is clear both of those reviewers have never been to this restaurant. one of them talks about ‘upstairs’ and ‘no atmosphere’, there is no upstairs? ignore them- this is one of the best restaurants in Manchester.truth.
Just okay. First of all must compliment the staff , fantastic, so friendly and attentive, secondly the ambience, we were sat upstairs , not the best , no atmosphere , third ,the food ,ok , nothing special had better.
Problems for tipping. Once i have visited this restaurant with my girlfriend and we had a lovely evening.food was tasty, service very friendly but the real issue started later.when i paid the bill i asked the waiter if it was better leaving tips cash or in the card.anyway he told me it was the same because staff just see 5 pounds a shift as most of the tips are collected by the boss.that’s very shamefuli advise all the customers to leave tips straight to the waiters like i did
Puccinis is a fantastic restaurant decor staff food all amazing, greeted and left with a kiss from the manager. There’s a really good buzz about the place lots if familys which is what the Italians are all about. I would eat here every weekend if I could afford it little gem
The good: very friendly staff, you certainly feel welcome, the restaurant has a relaxed and well designed dining area with plenty of room. The menu has a large selection, and the wine menu seems well considered. The not so good, the food is overpriced considering is quality and flavour, my prawn starter specifically tasted suspiciously frozen for 9. My main had overcooked fillet steak and undercooked pasta. But the garlic bread with tomato and herbs was excellent! My partners choices seemed much more successful than mine so maybe I will let her pick next time! To surmise, a friendly Italian, but sadly dissapointing.
