The Royal Oak Pub & Restaurant is located in the centre of Nonington, a village in the picturesque East Kent countryside. Having recently undergone extensive refurbishment by the new management, The Royal Oak is open and friendly to all and is an ideal destination for fun and relaxation in pleasant surroundings, to enjoy with friends and family.We offer a flexible dining experience with a variety of bar and restaurant food to satisfy a range of tastes and appetites, using locally sourced produce, fine wines and ales. Whether you are looking for a three-course meal; a tasty lunchtime snack; a delicious sharing platter or just coffee and cake, you are sure to find something that suits your palate. Within the garden is also a brick BBQ area where food and drinks will be served at various times throughout the summer and at special events.Children are particularly welcome and there is a secure garden area in which to play safely on the grass and in the adventure playground. The children's menu is both delicious and nutritionally balanced with a range of choices. We have a large decked area at the front of the pub, which overlooks the village pond and the Plumptre Estate beyond. A wide variety of both indoor and outdoor events are planned throughout the year.
