Trattoria Calabrese is a fantastic little italian restaurant in Norbiton. It’s very intimate and authentic and serves delicious food. When we visited last, we had the Bresaola to start, which was a little expensive but well portioned and with lovely fresh beef and parmesan. Then we had the tagliatelle with ham and cream, very rich but delicious nonetheless ; and the seabass with tomatoes, olives, capers and spinach which was some of the best fish I’ve tried. The tiramisu to finish was exceptional. The only reason I wouldn’t rate it more highly is because the service was very slow, despite its charm, and it’s not exactly authentic to be paying 3.50 for a basket of bread- in Italy it’s complementary every time!
