  So I was exploring Oxford with my uncle and his family and well being in ravenous state that we were, we came across this place. Since, I had never eaten a Jacket Potato before; I decided to go for their Tuna one which I must say was thoroughly enjoyed.The place was quite busy and seems like quite a hit with the public, service was fast; plus it was kid friendly and the food was good. Overall, I enjoyed it!

  Timeless and Tasty. Browns has always been perfect option for me for any meal, be it lunch, afternoon tea, dinner. The menu is varied, yet they have their classics. The change of ownership through the years certainly has not affected the quality of taste or the service you receive. The bar, and cocktail are also one of the best I have tried in Oxford.

  Browns Restaurant Oxford. I recently eat in Browns for the first time as me and 5 girlfriends had a weekend in Oxford. what a great place, the ambience and food were second to none. The place was heaving as it was a Saturday evening but we still had first class service. i cannot wait to go back again.

  My daughter and her friend worked here when they were students. They recommended eating steak, as that at least, was cooked on premises. Mostly they recommended eating elsewhere. The staff only worked there because the tips were high, they were expected to accept any horrible treatment from customers without complaint. Eating here is akin to buying from sweatshops and there is much better fare available nearby.
