This used to be our favourite Thai restaurant in London. This traditional English pub serves Thai food, and English traditional pub food too. The Elephant Inn has new owners, who have changed the food menu and prices are more expensive now. We ordered a starter’s platter, and starters were oily and very average (we now know so many other better Thai restaurants in comparison). Mains were nothing special…and the worst is food was not freshly prepared as they used to: We got a pad Thai that seemed to be re-heated in a microwave…as pasta was dry and not properly cooked… Also ordered the spare ribs…which seemed to be average Chinese oily ribs…We were not impressed at all… We live is west London now…so we did more than an hour tube for nothing!Definitely a disappointment. Staff are nice and friendly, but unfortunately food is not very good.

This is a fantastic pub in london serving excellent Thai food. The outside seating is perfect for a good sunny weather. The only thing is that they don’t serve alcohol outside so you need to get your drinks from inside the pub and drink outside. This pub has a very european feel to it. The Thai prawns curry and chicken curry is excellent. They also have meal combos with a started and main course. The meal combos are very easy on the pocket.The staff is helpful. Overall a great place to sit and talk over some nice beer or wine. The drinks menu though is not very exhaustive.Must visit on a sunny Day in London!
