Galicia is a family run Spanish tapas place, it has been going for years. My parents have been going there for some 30 years or so. Lovely chilled vibe, their octopus is out of this world. Their wines are lovely too!

They used to be very good, I had gone there many times but won’t be back. Galicia has resorted to serving re-heated tapas for Sunday lunch cooked the previous day (Patatas Bravas, Tortilla and Paella did not taste good or fresh) – when we flagged this to the waiter he didn’t seem to find it a problem. He said they had leftovers and the chefs didn’t have time to do cook a fresh batch yet (we arrived at 1PM)..

tried the cosy venue for a late night fever, to gorge on tapas- it turned out to be a very unique selection with its menu, its staff and local atmosphere. Not the top notch tapa place I frequently dream about, but it is well worth a visit with family/friends so that you can just keep on ordering till the day is done. The baby octopus and padron peppers happen to be my personal favourite

Authentic Spanish food and excellent service. Very small inside but friendly . I am Spanish so I do know what I’m talking about. I had pimientos de padron and tortilla, which were delicious as a starter. I recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The Best. The tapas here are fantastic, especially the Gallega octopus and the crayfish. The place itself is cosy and atmospheric and weirdly authentic with all the Spanish speaking regulars up at the bar. Great.

  • Caramelo

Homely comfort food and welcoming, happy staffs . Excellent food!

Unpretentious, hearty food and a great atmosphere
