My favourite place for breakfast. I go here at least once a week. Best cakes outside Portugal and better than many of the cake shops there. Very reasonable prices as well and lovely staff and atmosphere. Always busy because it’s so good. The shop across the road also does excellent hams and cheeses as well as good Portuguese goodies. Free street parking on a Sunday and pay and display for all other days. They also do the most amazing birthday and celebration cakes. Says here that it’s 15 for two. It’s much cheaper, not sure who set that price!
The perfect Portuguese paradise for someone who is away from home. I love to go there from time to time just to feel the flavour of our delicacies. And of course to drink an amazing coffee (something hard to find in London). Congratulations to all the Lisboa staff capable of maintaining this amazing place! possoserajoana.blogs.sapo.pt
They have the best coffee expresso in Town. When I have saudades de coisas portuguesa meaning sort off when I am missing things Portuguese. I go here for a rice muffin or Portuguese egg custard. Aka. Bolo de arroz and Pastel de nata. And they also stock Compal. My favourite is Compal morangos melancia. Meaning they have Portuguese fruit juice bottles and my favourite is strawberries watermelon. And cafe com leite. Meaning coffee with milk. Go here for authentic Portuguese cakes, pastries, snacks and savouries.
Best Pastel de Natas in the Portobello Market / Golborne Road area. Have been going here since I was small, always tastes exactly the same. Brilliant!
Their pasteis de nata (custard tarts) and galao (milky coffee) are out of this world. I have been known to make a near-daily pilgrimage.
