This pleasant suburban Indian is well worth a visit. The owner is welcoming, the decor is typically kitsch. The lack of music somewhat detracted from the ambiance, but the food was good. We enjoyed a decent dahl, a passable palak paneer and a fairly good fish curry. It was a nice meal but not groundbreaking. I suppose on a chilly Sunday night you’re not really looking for groundbreaking. It’s a nice little spot.
Lamb Karahi. This restaurant is far the best India restaurant I have ever been too! I am fairly new to Kew and the owners are very welcoming which has a unique touch to the excellent service as it is family run which is brilliant! The food is to die for and my favorite dish is the lamb karahi which was recommended by the sweet owner herself. I have told all my friends, family and neighbors about this ‘Little India’ and they are all very pleased with my recommendation!
