Rude staff. Walked by a few weeks ago and thought I must come back for breakfast as it is a very sweet looking place.Went today for breakfast – was spoken to so rudely by a fat sweaty grumpy bald man in an apron, stomping about and huffing over everything. He made us feel like we were doing something wrong just by being there and spending money in their cafe!?The food took so long, over 30 min wait for a sandwich and a full English even tho it wasn’t busy when we went. The food was lovely, but the service was so bad it made us uncomfortable.Wouldn’t go back. Shame really, as the owner has obviously put a lot of work into the deli.
I cannot recommend Albert’s highly enough. Since moving to Richmond a few months back, Albert’s has been a cornerstone in the culinary experience of the area for my partner and I. The food is fresh daily, with an ever changing array of delights on offer. The staff are warm and friendly, and the cakes are dangerously delicious. The only downside is that it’s quite out of the way, being in the opposite direction to the bulk of Richmond’s sights. That’s it. Other than that? Flawless
